近況報告 Update

大石家のラーメン。
高校の時以来。美味しかった～
I liked the Ra-men when I ate it before, I was a high school student. Though I haven't eaten it since that time, It was still good even I didn't remember the taste.




喜音の描いた、奏大さま。髪の毛のかき方が進歩。やっとばい菌でなく人間っぽくなってきたな～＾＾
The picture Yukine drew Kanata. People Yukine draw is getting better and better. They were like germs before though, now that it looks a human, isn't it?? Still they have stick arms and legs tho :p hehe~

With my grandma.
It had Ina matsuri, summer festival in down-town Ina( very small down-town), so Yukine wore Yukata, summer kimono and Kanata wore Jinbei kind of summer kimono. We had been many matsuri when we lived in Japan though, Yukine didn't remember at all, so she seemed to be surprised. Kids got snow corn from a food booth. Unfortunately, it was raining at the night, so we couldn't see fireworks outside, but we watched them on TV. There are some festivals here in the summer, so hopefully, we will go to see fireworks at least once.




おばあちゃんと一緒に。この日は地元の伊那まつりの日。せっかくだから喜音は浴衣、奏大は甚平で。お祭りの様子を写真に撮るのは忘れちゃったけど、喜音は去年までの日本のお祭りを覚えてなくて屋台をちゃんと見るのも興味津々。本人は、「日本のお祭り初めてやし、びっくりしちゃった！」ですと。＾＾：
子供ってこんなもん？？？喜音って忘れっぽいな～。
英語もすっかり忘れつつあります。スカイプでブリ豚と話すときも英語がでてこず、日本語になっている。。。。＾＾：もうなんだか心配するのもあほらしくなってきたわ。。。苦笑

長野 Nagano

長野で色々あるんですが、ブログサボってます。＾＾：

上は中ばあ（うちには喜音たちからみてひいばあちゃんもいるので、ひいばあちゃんを「ばあちゃん」、おばあちゃんを「中ばあ（真ん中のばあ、ちなみに私が小ばあとなるわけ。←うちの父の考え）」と読んでます。）が買ってくれたゆかた。着物好きの喜音は大喜び♪　早速一日着てはしゃいでおりました。

We did many things in Naganno though, I didn't update them on the blog yet....

At first, Yukine got a summer kimono from chu-ba( we calls my mom ( grandma Kirino) like this.) She is sooooo excited about it! She loves Kimono any of them so. She wore it all the day long.




保育園時代からの私の友達とその子供と一緒に公園へ。私が喜音を生んだときはまだ私の周りでは子供がいなかったけど、だんだん周りの友達も子供も持つように。もともとの友達でありながら、同じ子育てをするもの同士となれたことは嬉しいこと＾＾　

We met my friend from preschool some times. When I got Yukine, most of my friends didn't get married yet, but now that many of them got married and got thier kids, which is really good thing for me. We can meet on weekdays, and kids can play too!

そして、今回のメイン。じじ、ばばと一緒に一日日帰り旅行をしてきました。
本当は小さな遊園地みたいなところに行こうと思っていたのだけれど、あいにくの雨。。まぁ梅雨だし、私たちが出かけるって言ったら当然雨なわけで。。。仕方ないので屋内で遊べるところへ。

And this is main story in the blog. It's kinda old though, we went to Suwa city with Grandpa Kirino and Chu-ba( Grandma Kirino) the other day. We were supposed to go to a kind of fun park, but it was raining, so we changed the plan and we went to the shopping mall. At first, we went to a toy shop, of course, kids were so excited and they could spend for a long long time there, and then we went to a video game arcade. I and my dad love to do UFO catcher which is the name of the game machine to get a prize operating a equipment looks like a crane ( It's hard to describe in English though :-p)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQE1RdOTBNY
Anyway, we spent a lot of money for games :-p and then, we had a steak lunch, which was good :-)
And we rode a big swan shape boat at Suwa lake. As I said before, it was raining and weekday, so nobody besides us rode it, so passengers of the big swan boat were only us!!! (even Kanata and chu-ba weren't there because Kanata was sleeping and chu-ba was with him in a car then.)How lucky we were! (or should I say how lonly we were??? :-p) haha~

かわいそうな、操縦士さん、わたしらだけでは赤字覚悟の遊覧となっただろうな。。。。＾＾：　なんて贅沢な！




















そして、お昼はステーキを。写真撮ろうと思ったのにすっかり忘れて食べました＾＾：
その代わりに、お子様ランチの旗さした喜音でご勘弁！

ハウジングパーク Open house

昨日のブログでは深く考えず失礼なことを書いてしまったと反省。
もうちょっと考えて文章にしなくては、と思いました。　気を悪くなさった人がいたら本当にごめんなさい。






さて、今日は地元にあるモデルハウス展示場に行ってきました。
この三連休で子供連れを対象にしたイベントをしていたので、
もちろんここで家を建てる予定は全くありませんが、完全な冷かしですが、
そんな事情を素直に話しても快く出迎えてくれてました。ｗ

子供向けにジャンピングトイ（あのふわふわのやつ）やミニ新幹線もあったり
夏祭り風にスーパーボール釣りやヨーヨー釣りなんかもやっていて、
しかもお家を見学させてもらうだけでちょっとしたおもちゃや風船をもらえたり
私は、家の構造や、木材のこと、インテリアなんかについての知識を得ることができたり
なかなか親子共々楽しませてもらいました、ありがたい！

日本のこういうのは初めて行ったのですが、結構家についても勉強になったりするし
ちょっとした特典（アメリカで行ったときはクッキーをもらったり。笑）私は好きです。


ちょっとマイホームの夢が盛り上がりました。。。。。まだまだだいぶ遠い話だけど。。ーー：

写真のミニ新幹線。ほとんど人がいなかったので奏大くん連続5回くらい乗せてもらう。
それでも帰りたがらず、ちょっと大変でしたが幸せな奏大くんなのでした。。。＾＾：
最近気づいたのだけど、奏大くんは車全体よりはタイヤ部分にすごく反応する気がする。
タイヤに魅力を感じるらしい。日本に来るまで電車ってものを見たことがほとんどなかったから
あんまり興味がなかったけど、日本に来て、特に今日で新幹線を好きになりそうな予感。


In Japan, there are the place that many new model houses only for seeing are building in a big space, and people go visit to see and talk about the houses with housing company, and sometimes they held some events for the guests. Today they had summer festival for new family,especially for kids, there was a jumping toy, and mini- shinkansen which is Kanata's favorite, some games and so on :-) I love to see houses, so kids and I both were happy today :-) it was good! I learned lots of things about building a house, I don't know when I use these advices though, they were so nice to us.
We spent in the morning and we were supposed to go to the park and eat lunch, but Yukine had a stomachache, so we just ate lunch in the car and came back home. After she ate rice ball she got fine, that was meant just too hungry???? :-p

長野にて We are in Nagano.

日本に来て一ヶ月が経過。やばい、早すぎる。。。。
京都から戻って長野では、出来る限りのんびりし。。。ようとしてます。

やっぱりこのちびと一緒にのんびりってのが間違っているんだよね～
結局毎日ばたばた。。。＾＾：　うちの両親、子供苦手だし、働いてて時間ないし
ばあちゃんは足が悪くてもう子供と一緒について行けないし。
でもやっぱり長野は涼しいし、庭も広いし夏を過ごすにはとってもいい環境。

ちょくちょく地元の友達にも会ったりしていて、梅雨の合間に公園に行ったり、
のんびりはしてないけど楽しんでます。

ぶり豚は一足先にシアトルに戻りました。遠距離婚中♪笑

うちの実家の人たちはそろそろモンスター二人に疲れ気味の様子。苦笑
特にでかい方のモンスターは手に負えてませんな、なんせ口がたつからね～
可愛げがないんだよね。。。最近私も一日大声出してる。。。

でかい方はたまに保育園行かせてます。ここね、すごいよ、田舎。
一時保育、一時間150円で見てくれるの！安っ！
ちっちゃいのでさえ一時間３００円。
朝から晩まで預けられるけど昼寝は寝るのが嫌いだし、
下手に寝られて夜寝ないとだるいのでご飯食べた頃迎えに行く感じ。

そう、思った、日本の保育園は長いけど、今まで日本の保育園に行ったことのない
うちの子にとっては昼寝時間が長い。

すごく誤解を招く、失礼なことを書いてしまっていたので、ここは訂正させてもらいます。
読んだ保育士さん、気分を害してしまったらごめんなさい。。
お昼寝の時間はなにをしていないのではなくてほかの子供たちがいるときにはできない
お仕事をしているんですよね。それでなくても大変なお仕事、本当に頭が下がります。



アメリカはその昼寝ってのがないから一日っていうpreschoolが少ないのかな？
と勝手に分析。わからんけど。　
喜音はこのみんなで寝ないとみたいなのが日本の保育園が苦手な要因でもあるみたい。
今で3回くらい行ったけど、アメリカで泣いたことなんて無いのに、ここでは保育園で泣くらしい。
やっぱり違いを感じるんかな？？


でも4歳児は家ではもう限界。外で子供同士遊んだ方がいいんだ。
こっちも相手しきれないし。


さて奏大くんは。。。。疲れる。小さいくせにこまこま働くのですよ、こやつが。
もうどのくらい家のもん、壊してるかな。。。。
よくしゃべるようにもなってきた。おっきなってるのに暇があるとおっぱい「ばい？ばい？」
ってせがんでくるんだよね～もうそろそろ潮時かな～
シアトル帰ったら本気でやめる方向にしなあかんかも。
私といたらだれかと一緒で？？笑　おっぱいしか考えておらん！！

またなんか写真撮ったらアップしますわ。最近ちょっとさぼってます。
自分のパソコンじゃないと使いにくい。（いいわけ）

We've been in Japan for more than a month already. I didn't do my ”to do list” yet even if only I couldn't update the blog. I don't have enough energy to do new things besides watching two kids. My parents and my grandma also help me,but my parents are not good at playing with kids, and my grandma has bad legs, so she can't catch them up any more...:-( so sometimes, it's much busier than usual in Seattle. 　I think my parents and especially, my brother is getting tired of two little monkeys :-p Little one is not speaking so much yet though, Big one is talking all day long and she is stubborn and can't listen what people said at the first time, so......hummm...

Yukine is going to a nursery here sometimes. It costs only150yen (about 1and half bucks!)a hour. It is so cheap isn't it???? I prefer Japanese nursery than American, and they can watch kids like from 7 to 7! Japanese nursery let kids take a nap for like 2 hours even 5years kids, I think that's why they can watch kids all day. teachers also need some rest somehow.
Now, Yukine doesn't like taking a nap ( not only a nap, she doesn't like to sleep like her dad.)and I also don't want her to do it ( because she can't fall asleep soon at night), so I pick her up after lunch. I took her to there 3times for now, she cried 2times of them. I'm not sure and she didn't say about it much though, she seems prefer American preschool. maybe there are too many rules in here or just she is not used to there or something like that??? I don't know.
But I'm sure 4years old kids should play with other kids! I can't be at home with her all day long! :-p
Kanata is getting bigger and bigger. He speaks more and more, he is getting busier and busier.... and break something everyday....:-( Never stop, both two, until the bed time.
Nagano is not too hot and too much humidity, so it's nice to spend in summer :-) I'm glad that.
And there are lots of space in my parents place, so kids can play outside! Maybe a few days later, we can play in pool in the backyard :-)

ご無沙汰しております。 From Japan

日本に着いてもう3週間！？！？
これまで本当に色々あって、実家でついついぼーっとしてしまいブログ更新をだいぶ怠ってました。

着いてすぐに京都に一年ぶりに訪れてました、実は。
沢山の友達に会うことができてすごくすごく嬉しかった。
一年ぶりなのに、なんだかちょっとアメリカに旅行して帰ってきたような錯覚さえしたけど、でもところどころで、子供達の成長とか、前住んでた家に新しい人たちが住んでいるとか、そんなことで一年という時間の経過を感じたり。。。

忙しいのに私たちのために時間を作ってくれて会ってくれたり、とてもやさしく迎えてくれて、いろんな人に沢山沢山お世話になりました。泊めてくれたあけみさんファミリー、たかみさんファミリーも本当に心からありがとう。
本当に、嬉しかった！いつもいつも思うけど、私達はお友達にすごく恵まれているなと改めて実感。
喜音も、一年ぶりに日本の友達に会えて本当に嬉しかった様子。ちょっとたどたどしくなりはじめていた日本語もこの京都で完璧に復活、関西弁も復活。新しい言葉もどんどん吸収、子供ってすごいな～。。。。忘れるのも早いけどね。
奏大もはじめは人見知りしていたりしたけど、すぐに馴染んで楽しんでいた。シアトルでは見てもバスか消防車、トラックだけど、京都では電車に地下鉄、新幹線、路面電車、いろんな種類の車を見て大興奮！！奏大にとっては夢のような世界だったかな？笑
ちなみに奏大くん、だいぶ言葉が増えてきました。
「おっとっと～」「あちっち～」「りゅー（犬の名前）」「ちゅーだ(中ばぁ：うちでは彼らのおばあちゃんをこう呼んでます。）」　「だどー（Dad ブリ豚のこと）」　などなど。

友達に言われて気づいたのだけど、いまだ、この子豚日記は喜音のことはよく書くけど、奏大くんのことは少ないと。確かに！(笑）かわいそうなので意識的に気づいたら書くようにしましょう。（笑）

行動では、ジャンプ、登るの大好き。喜音のこのくらいだったかな？先日机にぶらさがってました。やっぱりうちの子たちは筋肉勝負か。。。。
とりあえずお姉ちゃんと同じことをしたがる、できると思い込んでる、本当にやる、のでこっちはハラハラ。紛れもなく二人目もやんちゃです。

今は長野に帰ってきました。ぶり豚は長野市でインターンシップ。同じ長野県でも南と北で車で2時間半の距離。いていないようなもんです。そして今週からは東京のご様子。ぶり豚が一足先にシアトルに帰る前にもう一度会えたらいいけど。。。。
奏大はおとといから風邪で発熱。旅の疲れが出たのでしょう。喜音はじじ、ばばに甘やかされてわがままになりつつあります、早いとこ保育園にでも行かせないとこっちが持ちません。

とりあえず、そんな感じでみんな日本を楽しんでます。どうも実家に来るとぼーっとしてしまいがちな私。
ちょっとそろそろ重い腰をあげて色々雑用もしなければと思っているところ。
それにしても日本はやっぱりご飯が美味しい！！！

Hi, there, Since we came to Japan, it has been 3weeks already! Wow, Time goes so fast.
We are fine, we enjoy Japan :-) We are in Nagano with my family now, we'd been to Kyoto for seeing our friends. It was soooo much fun! I was so glad to see many friends in Kyoto. We had stayed at two family's houses. They had us so kindly, Thank you so much, Akemi sanand Matt, Takami san. Kyoto we haven't been for just one year hasn't changed so much, and People hasn't changed either, so It seemed that we came back to Kyoto from a vacation or something like that. Though Kids has changed a lot! so we realized it has been 1 year since we went to the states.
Speaking of kids, Yukine was also so happy to see her many friends. She forgot some friends, she remembered other friends. Even she didn't remember them, once she started playing with them. they could be good friends :-) I envy them sometimes. Her Japanese, especially her Kansai dialect, is coming back as she plays with Japanese kids.
Kanata didn't have Japanese friends yet when he was in Kyoto, he was only 5 months old so, but he was popular among Yukine's friends :-) haha~ so he was enojoyed playing with kids too. Kanata also started speaking words more than when we were in Seattle. He speaks " Otto to" ( means "Oops" in English) " Da-do" (Dad ) " Ryu-"( Kirino family's dog's name) "a-chi-chi"( Hot ) and so on. I can't remember when Kanata started to speak words and do things. One of my friedns told me that I often wrote about Yukine on this blog even now, and Kanata's things are very few....actually, that's true :-p I'm so sorry for him. haha~

Anyway, we had really good tme in Kyoto thanks to our nice friends.

明日発ちます！！ See you in September, Seattle！

明日日本に発ちます。家族友達に会えるのがすごくすごく楽しみだけど
シアトルを数ヶ月離れるのもここに来てちょっと寂しく思ったりも。
あんなに帰りたいって文句言ってたくせにね、不思議。
ぶり豚に「麻実は満足しない性格だね」と。＾＾：



さて、喜音は他の子より一週間先にプリスクールを終わるので
卒業式に出られない。その事実を知った喜音は大泣き、「日本嫌い〜！！！」
と泣きじゃくるので、先生に相談して喜音の最後の日の後に
ちょっとパーティをしてもいいかという話をしたら先生が乗り気になってくれて
プリスクールの予算でピザを買って、卒業ピクニックをしようということに。
私はカップケーキを用意して、みんなでピクニックパーティをしました＾＾
このプリスクールのこういうところ、Becca先生のこういうところがすごく好き！



先生が気を利かせてくれて喜音に今日は「スーパースター」といって日本のお当番さんかな？にさせてくれ、ピクニックでも今日は喜音の最後だからとみんなの真ん中に座らせてくれて、と大喜び♪
喜音のほとんど仲良くしているグループの子たちは
来年からキンダーガーテンといって小学校の準備クラスにいくのでお別れ。
でも子どもってお別れも分かってないからかまたどっかで会えるしOKと思うからか
悲しくなくて「じゃあね、またね！」って感じで逆に気持ちがいいなと思った。

「Yukine~!　Yukine~!」とみんな仲良くしてくれて、私の知らないところで
喜音は喜音の友達の輪を広げ、みんなと信頼関係を作っていて、
いっぱいの友情をもらっていたんだなと思うと私もすごくすごく嬉しくなりました。

一年前にちょっとだけしか英語がしゃべられなかったのに、
知らない土地で突然、プリスクールに行くことになって
でも人見知りすることなく、すぐに友達を作り、英語もどんどん上達して
環境にもうまく順応して、彼女の強さ、明るい、やさしい性格を親として誇りに思いました。


We will leave for Japan tomorrow afternoon. I'm soooo excited about it, but on the other hand I would miss Seattle even it's for just 2 months and half though.

Anyway, that's why Yukine can't attend a graduation ceremony at the preschool. However she will be there one more year, most of her best friends will be gone to a their kindergarten in this fall, so she was so mad about her not being able to go to the ceremony. So we asked Teacher Becca who is a really cool teacher, we love her :-) if we could have a small party for Yukine, and she took our idea and she suggested a pizza picnic party! Then Becca got pizza on the preschools budget, and I got graduation cup cakes.

Thanks to Becca, Yukine was a superstar and she sat on the middle on the bench, she was a special girl today :-) She was so lucky!!

Becca and many parents told us that How cute and nice Yukine was! and she seems to be smart. We (Brit and me ) are so surprised! hehe :-p I agree with some point, but I didn't expect she is outstanding. Of course, we are proud of her soooo much.
Apparently, she has lots of friends who like her and play with her, so she got very busy day today. She was doing very very well in this year. She moved to new place, I mean country and culture,switch the language and started going to the preschool. She made new friends very very quickly!!
I'm so proud of her :-)

Anyway, we will enjoy our trip!!! See you, Seattle!

布

最近になって今頃、奏大に布オムツを使い始めてみた。

喜音が生まれる前に母に勧められたけど、面倒くさそうで断固拒否。
コインランドリーしかない、もうゆうてもオムツ生活後半になってる今頃
始めるのもちょっとアホだと思うけど、日本にいるよりも環境のことをもうちょっと
真剣に考えるようになったこの頃。そしてお金がないってのもあるかも。（苦笑）
毎日頑張って手洗いしてます。
布にして気づいたこと、奏大のおしっこってめちゃくちゃ臭い！
おしっこがこんなに臭いって知らなかった〜。紙って匂いも消してるっていうか
匂わなくしてるんだな〜と。これもよかったことかな。



私自身も今、布ナプキンを使い始めた。全然そんな考えはなかったけど、
アメリカのナプキンを信用できない私、２ヶ月前まで、奏大を妊娠後、生理もなかった
ので考えもしなかったけど、来てからふとホームページで布ナプキンを調べてみた。
そしたら自分で作れるし、（しかもけっこう簡単。）しかも生理も軽くなる、
トラブルが減るとのこと。まぁムレにくいよね、どう考えても。そして環境にもいい。
布オムツは実はこの布ナプキンを使い始めてからやってみようと思ったのよね。
布ナプキンはゆうても月に一週間くらいのことだからオムツよりももっと
気分的に楽に始められたから。

やっぱり布って気持ちがいい。肌触りがケミカルとはやっぱり違う。
しかも自分でいろんな布を選ぶことができて、本当ナプキンなのに
下着みたいでかわいい。ちょっとつけるのがもったないくらい。
でもちょっとだけ次のその時が楽しみになったりもする。

それに気分もいい、少しでもごみを減らすことができている、
小さいけど地球にやさしくしているかなってことで。


けっこうおすすめです♪

I'm using cloth diapers for Kanata, and cloth pads for my period. That's because I started thinking about ECO more seriously than before, and I don't know about American pads so much, so I was lazy to find good one, and for saving money too! It may be the biggest reason why I took them :-p
I keep making pads by myself when I have some time for sawing a little by a little. It's not very difficult, I mean it's really easy, so even me, I can make easily :-)
When I were thinking about the pad and diapers at first, I thought that it's hard to wash them without our own washing machine, but on the other hands, the pads need only one week a month, I may be able to do it. And once I use it, I very like it :-) It feel so nice for me and the earth too! In addition, I can choose the design like my cloths! It's fun and cute :-)


And about the diaper, I just told to my friend that I was interested in a cloth diaper, then she had a bunch of cloths diapers and the covers, so she gave me parts of them! Good timing! So I tried to use them. He pees many times a day because he still drink breast milk, so I'm using cloth one as much as I can, and when I'm tried to change his diaper ( I didn't change paper diaper as much as I do cloth diaper :-p) or when the covers run out (because I have only two covers.) I switch paper one. For now, I'm fine with them.
Oh, I have to write down about it, I didn't know at all before I used a cloth diaper though, his pee is sooooo stinky!!! Maybe it's good thing to know it as a parent, or maybe don't need thing :-p

I can't tell about cloth diaper, of course it's really good for ECO, so I recommend it too though, I really recommend a cloth pad!!! it's fun and cute and Eco too :-)

晴天が続いてます。Beautiful day everyday.

　　ブリ豚と　ビキニの人。
なんかめっちゃビキニとかいたり喜音も水着でびしょぬれてますがね、それでも全然私にとっては夏ではないですよ、5月並って感じ。

シアトルの人は晴れて天気よかったらとりあえず服を脱ぎ始める傾向が。。。
ま、ブリ豚は喜んでましたがね。

" Seattle people wear T-shirts when it's 40F." I have heard about that. In End of May, the Seattle women wore Bikini at the beach :-O It was sunny and warm but not hot. Brit was happy to see nice view everywhere I think ;-)







もう一週間前のことになってしまったけど。。。
相変わらずとってもいい天気が続いてるシアトルです。
先週月曜日はMemorial dayで休日。Memorial dayは戦争に行った方たちへの感謝の日。
それと関係があるかないかアメリカの人たちはBBQをするらしい。ま、夏でなにかあったらBBQなんだけどね。＾＾：私たちはブリ豚を通じてお友達になった日本人ご家族と一緒に「New castle beach park」という公園に行ってきました。Washington lakeに面したビーチもあって、大きな芝生もあってとっても家族連れにはいい公園。そりゃもうたっくさんの人人人でした。
この公園はEast sideというところにあってWindowsの本社なんかがある辺だからお金持ちが多いところ。ちょっと顔ぶれもうちの近所と違っていたような。。。＾＾：
BBQしてる人も沢山いて中には韓国人ファミリーは炊飯器まで持参してた。笑

We went to New castle beach park in Bellevue on 25th May ,Memorial day. The park is very huge and beautiful and there are a beach too. It's good for family :-) We hung out with Japanese friend family that Brit found at his school. they have a daughter who is almost 4 years old, Yukine likes her ( she met them too when it's Cherry blossoms season at the UW.), so they played and talked girls talk all day :-) I and her mom enjoyed talking about family and life stuffs and Dads enjoyed talking about Japanese politics and men stuffs :-p It was a fun! (Don't worry, Brit. I didn't say anything bad about you ;-) hehe~)
There were lots lots of people there, they of course brought barbeque set and enjoyed Momorial day's BBQ party :-) Among those, Korian family brought rice cooker too!! Amaging!






そうこう言ってるうちに日本行きまであと２週間をきりました〜♪♪♪
もうほんまに今からウキウキワクワク♪　前日絶対に寝れないと思う。ま、どうせ飛行機で寝かせてもらえないだろうし。

By the way, it's 2 more weeks before we will leave to Japan :-D I'm sooooooo excited about it! we are still busy, Brit's final will over on the next Monday. I'm trying to be quiet in order to not get him trouble as much as I can. Good luck, Brit!

ブリ豚は今ファイナル、期末試験真っ只中。来週の月曜日にすべての締切りが終わります。とりあえずあと一週間、あまりわがままを言わずおとなし〜くしておこうと努力してます。笑
　






　

やっと成功！ I succeeded at making wild yeast bread.

今まで何回か試してきた天然酵母ってやつ。生の果実やレーズン、この世のある自然なものに付いている酵母菌を使って焼くパン。
今まで一度もうまくいかなかったけど、この前初めて成功、パンになりました＾＾
ここまでにかかった時間２週間かな？
そう、とっても時間がかかってちょっとしたペットを持ったのような気分でした。
ドライイーストのパンはそれで私は好きだけど、天然酵母はもうちょっと複雑な味がすると思う。
それがいいとか悪いとかではなくて、ゆうたら、ドライイーストはもうちょっと日本的な
単一民族で、天然酵母はアメリカみたいに人種のるつぼ、
ゆえにいろんな味がミックスされているみたいな。。。わかりにくいか。。＾＾：


私は今回、生いちごから天然酵母をとったんだけど、いちごの風味がどこかでやはりするので
レーズンパンなんかの甘い系がしっくりくる気がする。

なかなか時間がかかるけど、ゆっくりパンを焼きたい時にはいい感じ。

I had tried making wild yeast bread several times, but I never done it yet. I did it this time :-) I made it from fresh strawberries this time, it had been for about 2 weeks until we could eat the bread, it's kinda long time, but I enjoyed cultivating them and the bread was really tasty :-)

Bread made by dried yeast is easier and takes shorter time, and I like it too. Bread made by wild yeast is more like complex taste because it contains a lot of kind of yeasts. So dried yeast is like Japanese culture and wild yeast is like American culture. I like both, they are just different. When I want bread is like uniformed and stable and I don't have time, I would use dried yeast, when I want bread is like naturally and complex taste and I don't hurry, I would use wild one. Making bread is fun!!!

いやいや、前回の日記でほんまにご心配おかけしましてごめんなさい。そしてたくさんのメッセ、コメント本当に本当にありがとう！！
すごく孤独な気分だったから本当に救われました。

子どもの前で号泣して、夜２日続けて9時、８時就寝、今はだいぶ気分がマシになりました。

子どもの事、自分の事、仕事、人間関係、全てをもっと力抜いて考えようと思いました。
どうも色々考えすぎて、物理的にも精神的にもいっぱいいっぱいだったなと。
まぁ一理、シアトルの天気にも（いつも雨か曇り）やられていたのかも＾＾：

家がちょっとくらい汚かろうが、家事が全てできなかろうが、喜音がうまくひらがな書けなかろうが、あまり心配するのをやめてみます。笑

そして、日本に帰ったらみんな遊んでくださいね〜♪
本当に、本当にみんなありがとう！！！！！

しんどい。

頑張っていつも前向きでいようとしてるけど、
あと一ヶ月で日本に帰れるけど、

本当に今の生活がしんどくって今日は子どもの前で大泣きしてしまった。


ぶり豚が勉強しんどいってわかるから、あまり無理も言えないし

でも全部自分でできないし

両方の親は遠くてなにも頼めないし

お金ないからこどもをちょっとベビーシッターしてもらうこともできないし

車乗れないから、バスじゃないと遠出もできないし

週末は働かないとだから家族で一緒に遊べる時間はないし

言いたいことすべて英語で表せるわけじゃないし

こどもたちが病気をせずに五体満足で、ご飯も食べていけているし

このご時世に働かせてくれるところもある、

週４ヨガにも通えている。

文句言うところではないってわかってるけど

しんどいです。。。。。

正直、来年ぶり豚が学生終わるまで日本の実家にいて

別々に住もうかとさえ考えている、私。

これを読んだ人がきっと心配すると思いつつ、自分の気持ちを正直に
書いたらちょっと気が紛れるかな〜と書いてしまいました。

はぁ〜あと１時間で仕事か。。。。

がんばれ、麻実！

I was blue on last sunday, I got so tired from the life recently. I know there are lots of people who have harder life than me, and I am lucky because I can go to yoga class at YMCA 4days a week and kids are healthy, Brit is doing well at his school, everything is going cool, but sometimes I feel very lonely and down :-(

I am trying to let Brit study at home as long as possible, but on the other hand, I want him to listen to me, but he is too busy, he is also trying to make me happy though.... I know it.

I wish we could have time to do something together more.
I wish we had enough money to pay for babysitting sometime.
I wish I could speak English more.

I need more time and energy.

I know I should be satisfied with my currently life.

I hope I would feel better this week :-)

母の日 Mother's day

喜音から、プリスクールで作ってきてくれました。
カードとチョコ。チョコってあたりがアメリカンよね＾＾：
Yukine gave me a card and chocolate from preschool.

四角の中の小さい人は赤ちゃんの喜音で、ベビーベッドに寝てるところらしい。
Yukine's picture looks like germs though, I like it :-)
A small person in the square was baby Yukine, she laid down on a crib she explained to me.

すれ違い夫婦の私たち、ひさびさの家族4人そろった休日。ああ〜うれし♪ああ、幸せ♪

シアトルのプロサッカーチームの試合を見に行きました。サッカー観戦は前に京都パープルサンガを見に行った以来２回目。強さもサンガくらいらしい。あいかわらずサッカーにあまり興味がない私だけど、生観戦はそれなりに盛り上がる。笑

We went to the Seattle sounders FC's game on mother's day. Brit's school bought the tickets for us, actually for only Brit though, very kind Brit's friend gave us extra tickets, thank you thank you!
I had work off, so we spent time all together all day long, I was really happy about it :-) The soccer game was a kind pissed us off, but still had a great family time.

夕ご飯もぶり豚がすべて用意してくれた。
コーンビーフ、って缶じゃないよ。ちゃんと肉から作れるらしく挑戦してた。それがなかなかおいしい。キャベツとか蕪とかにんじん、いっぱい野菜もいれて煮る。ポトフみたい。

それから、デザートは自家製アイス。
アイスクリームメーカーがリサイクルショップで６ドル。
それを試してみた。なんか失敗ぎみだったんだけど食べてみたら
アイスの味。ラズベリー入れてけっこう美味しかった。

Brit prepared everything for dinner!
He tried to make corned beef this time. Actually it was really good. I never taste real corned beef not can stuff before. It was of course much much better than cans one.

And on the other day, we got an ice cream maker from the thrift store, so we tried it.
Brit boiled the cream too long, so it was a little bit weird looking but taste was ok. We will try it again soon.

Thank you for my family, I had a really good mother's day :-)

アートな日々 Art week

シアトルでは毎月第一木曜日に
Seattle Art Museum (通称　SAM）の入館料がフリーになります。
（他の博物館も違う曜日とかフリーになる日があったような。。。）
前々から気になってはいたけど子どもとゆっくりも見れないし、
と諦めていたところ、お友達も子づれで行くとのこと。
じゃあご一緒にっ！と行ってきました。





行ってみたら結構子連れで来ている人が多かった。
でもそこはさすがに美術館。
子どもももちろん、静かにアートを見なくてはいけません。

On every first Thursday of months, Seattle Art Museum (SAM) 's admission is free! Though I knew about it, I thought that it would be hard to see works with two little monkeys, so I've never been there before. But one of my friends told about it and she and her two kids would go there, so we followed them. My friend's kids are very close to my kids age and the same gender too, older one is a girl and younger one is boy :) So they became friends easily.


Anyway, once we got there, there were many parents and their kids too, which made me feel more free :-) However, it still is a museum, even kids have to be quiet and see pictures or objects. Yukine has a very very short attention span so I really worried to walk around the museum, but she was doing good, she liked the one of oil painting of a mom and one girl and one baby just like Yukine and Kanata :-)
We walked around in the morning kids had a patient, and then we moved to kids corner and we spent time a little bit until lunch time.

I haven't been to museum for a long time, I like artistic stuffs though, so I enjoyed them chasing kids. It was a good time.

一緒にいった友達も子どもの集中力のある午前中に何個か決めて一緒にまわり、
絵や展示物を見て、そのあと子ども用の広場で少し遊ばせるとのこと。
うん、それは頭がいい。
でも現代美術館なので斬新なものが多くあって子どもでも面白いものも。
私もアートに触れる機会ってなかなかないから久々にとても刺激されました。

次の日の夜は近所でArt Walkという
アートフェスティバルが開かれていたのでそれにも顔をだしました。
この近所は普段からかわいい通り、お店なんかが並んでいて
私のお気に入りのところ。
いろんなお店やダンス教室なんかが協力して
アートの展示、音楽ライブなんかをしてました。

And next day, Friday's evening, it was " Art walk" in a little bit down neighbor from our place, so we went there.
I usually like this neighborhood where some cute cafes, cute shops, and pretty buildings. at the time, these shops and cafes changed as galleries and theaters and gig places. AND they surved snacks too! ;-) haha~





そして、月曜日はぶり豚の大学の学部が100周年イベントをしているということで私たちも。
外で音楽をしていてそれを聞いたり、学会のあとに残ったクッキーをちょっと拝借したり。笑




On Monday, Birt's university department, Jackson school, had a big party for the 100th anniversary. We visted to him and listened to some music and got some cookies :-)

なんだかアーティスティックな数日をすごし、
普段の生活でなかなか刺激をうけない頭の部分を活性化された
そんな日々でした。

So these were our last week. Lots lots of arts and musics!

車を買いました！！！ We got a car!!!! yeah!!

できれば環境のため、お金のため、健康のため。。。などなど、車を持たない生活を続けたかったけどあまりにも子ども２人と公共交通機関の不充実さ（シアトルはマシです。でもどうしてもバスだけだと、、、、もっとダウンタウンの中なら要らないんだろうけど。）に遂に車を所持することに。



そんな素晴らしい車じゃないけど、そんな新しくもないけど、予算内で状態も綺麗でホンダなので満足な買い物だと思ってます。


ああ、これで、土砂降りの中、自転車通勤しなくていい！　３０分遅れるバスを寒い中待って、あげくに次のバスに追い越されるなんてことしなくていい！　重い荷物をベビーカーに必死で詰めて坂道を登らなくていい！！！！

ああ、うれし♪



We didn't want to have a car if we can, but it's too hard to handle a life with small kids and without a car, so we decided having a car. We were looking for some cars which is not so expensive.... I mean, cheap :p and Japanese or European car if we can get, and we found Honda which came in our budget. I'm soooo happy!

I don't have to ride a bicycle to the way to work in a heavy rain anymore!
I don't have to wait for a 30 mins late bus in a cold winter!
I don't have to put heavy groceries in Kanata's stroller hard and push it up a hill holding him!!!

That would be a fantastic :-D

シャボン玉おじさん The Bubble man

再び、お天気のいい日にCarkeek parkにお友達と一緒に行ってきました。だいぶお天気の日が続くようになったシアトル。とっても気持ちがいいです＾＾

We went to Carkeek park again with our friend and her son :-) It was a beautiful day, so there were lots of kids and parents there.


この前来たときもいたんだけど、シャボン玉おじさん（自称　Bubble man)がこの日も来てました。前は遅くてパフォーマンスが終わってしまっていたけど、今回は間に合った。

And, a Bubble man also came :-) When we came here, he was there too, but it's too late for his performance, we missed it last time, but in this time, we could see it :-) He made tons of tons of bubbles and performed several things which made kids very excited.
いろ〜んなシャボン玉を作ってくれて、パラソルとかでもおもしろおかしく芸を見せて子どものツボを押さえたバブルマン＾＾

車の後ろがベルになってたり。

There were bells on back of his car.

もう子供たちはおおはしゃぎ。シャボン玉でこんなに幸せになれる子ども。。。ああ戻りたい。笑
本当にいいお天気で海も山も綺麗に見渡せて気分がとってもいい一日でした＾＾
